An Integrative Review of Geriatric ethic in Korea

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyse the philosophical foundation, ethical principles and nursing ethic of the geriatric ethic. An integrative review concept analysis method was used. Relevant reports were identified by a computer-assisted search using the keyword integration in RISS4U, KISS. In total, 17 geriatric ethic articles publish between 2000 and 2013 were retrieved from the journals studied. Data were extracted from primary sources on the definition of integration, aspects of the process, antecedents, consequences, and facilitators. Over this period, the analyse result of these 17 articles were descriptive studies. Method of study were 4 interviews, 8 surveys, 4 literature review and secondary analysis 1. Most of the philosophical foundation was caring ethic, ethical principles were the principle of autonomy, nursing ethic was caring of moral standard. The result of study expect that various quantitative researches in relation to geriatric ethic and intervention studies are needed.
